MUSICIANS OF THE REGIONS DO NOT LIKE COMPETITIONS
Support A1+!79 pupils from the regions of Armenia, Javakhq and Artsakh will participate in the Piano competition after Arno Babajanyan in Yerevan on April 27 through May 18. The competition is being held for the 7th time.
This year the majority of the participants of the competition are from Yerevan. Several regions such as Vayots Dzor, Ararat and Aragatsotn are no represented in the competition at all. The President of the jury explains that the residents of the faraway regions do not have the possibility to visit the capital often, and the connection between the capital and the regions is not very close.
The competition is being held with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Youth Fund “Armenia”, and Armenians Composers Union and the Fund “Arno Babajanyan”.
