«ARMENFILM» HAS A NEW DIRECTOR

In a year CS films will be renamed as «Armenfilm» studio, and the previous «Armenfilm» - as National cinematography center. Ruben Gevorgyants has been appointed director of «Armenfilm», and Ruben Hovhannisyan – executive director, replacing Gevorg Gevorgyan who was appointed Minister of Culture.

During the coming 10 years about 10 billion USD will be invested in the studio. As Ruben Gevorgyants informs, the aim of the studio is to make films in compliance with the international standards which will participate in the international festivals.
