BILLY WILDER FILMS IN YEREVAN
Support A1+!On March 5, 2005 the Film Programs Department of the National Gallery of Armenia with the support of the Public Affairs Section of the US Embassy in Armenia, will launch a Billy Wilder film retrospective. The purpose of the program is to present the artistic heritage of one of Hollywood’s most consistent and endurable filmmakers. 16 different films directed by Billy Wilder will be screened during March at the National Gallery (9th floor auditorium on Saturdays and Sundays at 12.00 and 14.30.
After the press conference to be held on March 3 the feature film “Sunset Boulevard” that won the Oscar for Best Screenplay and Best Art Direction, will be shown in English.
The National Gallery of Armenia will continue regular art documentary films screening starting with March 9.
To note, only the entrance fee should be paid to attend the film show.
