WE WILL RECEIVE MONEY FROM RF IN AMD
Support A1+!A new program of money transfer from Russia to Armenia has been implemented by «Unistream» system. In connection with the 5th year of the creation of «Unibank» Gagik Ghazaryan, the President of the bank council told a news conference today that from now on the RA citizens can get the Russian rubles and US dollars from their relatives in Armenian drams, without any additional payment.
The exchange rate is calculated according to the rate established by «Unibank». Gagik Ghazaryan underlined that this innovation is used for the first time not only in Armenia, but also in Russia.
President of the Central Bank Tigran Sargsyan was also invited to the press conference. He found the program of “Unibank” important and asked the representatives of the Mass Media “to inform the society about it”.
Nevertheless, the journalists were more interested in the change in exchange rate of AMD/USD. Today the rate is 10 drams less than that during the last month. The President of the Central Bank mentioned the same reasons as during the whole year. He mentioned that the percentage of private transfers has grown, and the exchange rate of the AMD has grown by 18.3 % since the beginning of the year.
