“Poverty rate in Armenia hasn’t slide lower than 48 percent for recent years. The programs we intend to put into reality this year will be focused on urgent solution of penury reduction problem”, World Bank’s representative Roger Robinson said at a news conference held Wednesday.

He said the World Bank will allocated 12 million USD for the republioc’s local governments authorities, 16,6 million USD for public health care sphere development, 20 million for education program implementation, 20 million for water economy recovery and 4-5 million for pension program implementation.

All the credits will be given for 40-year period on condition of 10-year interest-free usage.
