GAS TARIFF WON’T CHANGE IN FEBRUARY
Support A1+!But this doesn’t mean that gas tariff won’t change at all. Committee for Coordinating the Natural Monopolies has decided to postpone discussion of the issue till January 9, 2004.
The decision was unexpected since Committee had 90 days at disposal to study the gas tariff change in details. At the beginning of the sitting Committee Chair Robert Nazaryan and some members even asserted that they might make the decision.
Before voting on tariff change Vice-Chair of the Committee managed to ask for break. He whispered in Robert Nazaryan’s ear something. After it a decision was made to delay voting till “HayRusGasArd” Company introduces new reasons for its wish to change gas tariff.
After the decision Robert Nazaryan also announced that he didn’t aim to make a decision, which might later cause obstacles against economy. The tariffs by “HayRusGasArd” Company suppose: consumers using gas up to 10000 cubic meters monthly will pay 51000 drams and those consuming more than 10000 cubic meters will pay 79.1 drams per cubic meter. “HayRusGasArd” says there’s no sense to run in case of profit less 3%.
