MONITORING CONDUCTED FROM AFAR

In accordance with an earlier agreement with the NKR authorities, the OSCE mission conducted monitoring at the contact line of the Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces, in the southeast of Javahirli settlement.
On the side of the NKR Defence Army, the monitoring was conducted by Field Assistants to the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Peter Kee (Great Britain) and Jiry Aberle (Czech Republic).
No violation of cease-fire regime was reported. However, the Azeri side did not lead the mission to the frontline, as a result of which the monitoring had to be conducted from afar.
The monitoring mission on the Karabakhi side was accompanied by representatives of the NKR Ministries of Defence and Foreign Affairs, reports the NKR MFA.
