SARGSYAN TO MEET WITH ALIEV

Serzh Sargsyan met today with Co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group Yuri Merzlyakov (Russia), Matthew Bryza (U.S.), Bernard Fassie (France) and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-office Anjey Kasprshik. RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandyan also took part in the meeting.

The interlocutors discussed issues concerning the current phase of the Nagorno-Karabakh peace talks. The Co-chairs also informed the president of the results of meetings in Baku. An agreement was reached to organize the meeting of the Armenian and Azeri presidents. Although it is not stated in the president’s press release, the meeting will most probably take place on the sidelines of the global economic conference to be held on January 28 in Davos.
