PACE CO-RAPPORTEURS ARE ARRIVING

Co-rapporteurs of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) John Prescott and Georges Colombier, and Secretary of the Commision Bas Clain will arrive in Armenia on January 15.
They are expected to have meetings with the CoE Secretary General's Special Representative to Armenia Silvia Zehe, Armenia’s Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepyan and Human Rights Ombudsman Armen Harutyunyan.
In the National Assembly the co-rapporteurs are scheduled to meet with NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, Head of the Armenian delegation to PACE David Harutyunyan, Chairman of the NA ad hoc Committee looking into the events of March 1-2 Samvel Nikoyan and the members of the fact-finding group.
Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan will host John Prescott and Georges Colombier on January 15.
The co-rapporteurs will leave Yerevan on January 16.
