14 MILLION DOLLARS TO ARMENIA
Support A1+!Armenian Ambassador to Austria Ashot Hovakimyan and Director-General of the OPEC Fund for International Development Suleiman Al-Herbish signed an agreement to grant a 14 million dollar loan to the Armenian government.
The purpose of the loan is to implement the “Marketing possibilities for farmers” program, which foresees development of rural economy through loans and investments.
The Director-General noted that this is the third program being implemented in Armenia. Mr. Al-Herbish expressed satisfaction on the occasion of the cooperation with the Armenian government and expressed hope for future productive cooperation.
Ambassador Hovakimyan attached importance to the cooperation with the fund and noted that during his visit next year, the Director-General will have the opportunity to personally see the results of the programs implemented with funding provided by the fund.
