President Serzh Sargsyan issued a congratulatory message on the 2790th anniversary of Yerevan City. The message runs, in part:

“Really, few capitals have а biography full of events of millennium and written in the spirit of progress. This is a reality that inspires everyone to work for the further development of Yerevan, its citizens and humanity who consider Yerevan one of the symbols of national revival.”
