President of Armenia Serzh Sarkissian signed a decree on dismissing Hranush Hakobian from the position of the President of the Diaspora Ties Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. According to another presidential decree, Hranush Hakobian was appointed Minister of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia.
