Yesterday the Russian Federation recognised the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Asked about Armenia’s stance on Russia’s behaviour, the Head of Media Relations Division of the RoA Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tigran Balayan, said: “Armenia has always backed and remains confident that the military way of conflict resolution is not promising. Such conflicts should be solved on the basis of free expression of will.
