ARMENIA TO HAVE NEW GOVERNMENT FROM JULY 1
Support A1+!On June 21 Serzh Sarkissian signed the Law on “Structure of the Government of the Republic of Armenia” adopted by the National Assembly.
The following ministries are included in the Government of the Republic of Armenia:
Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs
Ministry of Healthcare
Ministry of Justice
Ministry of Emergency Situations
Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Ministry of Nature Protection
Ministry of Agriculture
Ministry of Economy
Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources
Ministry of Education and Science
Ministry of Culture
Ministry of Defence
Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs
Ministry of Diaspora Affairs
Ministry of Territorial Administration
Ministry of Urban Development
Ministry of Finance
Ministry of Transport and Communication
The law will come into force from July 1, 2008. The Ministry of Diaspora Affairs will be included in the Government structure from October 1, 2008.
