ARMENIA TO HAVE NEW REPRESENTATIVE TO CoE

On June 9 Serzh Sarkissian signed a decree on releasing Christian Ter-Stepanian from the responsibilities of Armenia’s Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe. Jivan Tabinian was dismissed form the position of the Head of Mission of the Republic of Armenia at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. Zohrab Mnatsakanian was released from the duties of Armenia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Swiss Confederation, Armenia’s Permanent Representative at the UN Office in Geneva and other international organisations.

According to another presidential decree, Zohrab Mnatsakanian was appointed the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the Council of Europe (seat in Strasbourg).

Armenia’s Ambassador to the Republic of Austria Ashot Hovakimian was appointed Head of Mission of the Republic of Armenia at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
