KAREKIN II VISITS RoA GOVERNMENT
Support A1+!Armenia's Prime Minister Tigran Sarkissian had a meeting with His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians. The parties discussed issues related to church-building, the role and importance of the church in the society, consolidation of the value system based on Christian values.
The Catholicos of All Armenians and the Prime Minister agreed to hold a joint scientific conference dedicated to the role and importance of the church in the modern society. Issues of concern of our society and the ways of their resolution will be discussed during the conference, featuring representatives of the “Noravank” scientific-educational centre, clergymen, intellectuals, and pious people.
