KOCHARIAN RECEIVES ZUBKOV
Support A1+!On February 6 President Robert Kocharian received the Russian delegation at the head of Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov. The meeting was attended by RA Prime Minister Serzh Sarkissian and other top officials. Appreciating the upward development of Armenian-Russian relations, the President said “they have a brilliant perspective.” <п>According to Armenia's President, the economic ties have become the locomotive for bilateral cooperation, as a result of which the Russian capital has been involved in a number of branches of Armenian economy, powerful programmes have been implemented. This involvement is expected to enlarge. The President specially underscored the dynamically developing collaboration in the field of infrastructures. The parties noted that the commodity turnover that is approaching $1 billion and the results already achieved have created favourable preconditions for large-scale and promising programs. They associated the economic successes with the productive work of the Armenian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation.
