The RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Vardan Oskanyan received PACE Ad-hoc Committee Observation Mission headed by PACE Deputy Chairman John Prescott.

The parties talked about the preparation process for the presidential elections. PACE delegates presented their impressions on the meetings with the RA high-ranking officials, presidential candidates and the representatives of NGOs.

Minister Oskanyan prioritized the activities of the observation mission. He elucidated the amendments to the law on dual citizenship. The Minister expressed hope that the international observers’ assessments on the results of the forthcoming elections would register progress, thus promoting development of democracy in Armenia.
