NO GREY POINTS

Official

“In this regard there are no grey points for me in the Armenian economy that I may not know”, said the Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan Ambassador Sergey Kapinos. He said this after the Chairman of the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition of the RA Ashot Shahnazaryan ensured that the collaboration of the Commission and the OSCE Office in Armenia would be more productive, since the Ambassador was aware of the nuances of Armenian economy.

As necessary dimensions for the collaboration Ashot Shahnazaryan mentioned OSCE support in the institutional capacity development, work out of mechanisms for the implementation of law and the exchange of experience. “As an economist I can say that monopoly hinders the progress of the economy in Armenia. The development of market mechanisms are of vital importance for the stability of the economy. And it will be good if we manage to set up mechanisms that may promote the development of market mechanisms”, said Mr Kapison.
