July 4, President Robert Kocharian received Bushra Halepota, the newly appointed representative of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Armenia.

Focusing on bilateral productive cooperation between the Armenian Government and the international structure, the President expressed confidence that it will be ongoing.

The parties dwelt on refugees’ socio-economic and housing problems, as well as their census.

Robert Kocharyan noted that refugees' full integration into society is one of the Government’s priorities. The country’s development and economic growth create opportunities for solving the problems of refugees, the RA President said.
