RA first president Levon Ter- Petrosyan sent a letter of condolence to Naina Yeltsin on the death of Boris Yeltsin, RF first president

Here is the message of Levon Ter-Petrosyan:

' Dear Naina Iosivna,

I am deeply grieving Boris Nikolaevich's death. I lost a frank and devoted friend who always stuck to his moral principles. He was a kind, very humane and notorious political figure. Thanks to these features, he was able to lead the country at the most difficult and vital period of fundamental reforms in Russia. The history will still honor and appreciate the person who carried out the burden of reforms and innovations. I would very much like to underline the investment Boris Nikolayevich had made in Armenia-Russia co-operation aimed at securing stability and peace in the region.

Dear Naina Iosivna, it is a great loss for all of us. I want to support you in this time of misfortune, and wish great patience to your relatives and you, in particular. We just need to console with the idea and always remember Boris Yeltsin as an exceptional political figure.'
