ARMENIA IN THE BRAZILIAN CARNIVAL
Support A1+!On the initiative of the Armenian consulate general in San Paolo, in the 2007 February Brazilian carnival one of the best carnival schools of the country will represent Armenia as part of the program.
One of the five allegoric cars, 17 meters long and 12 meters high, will symbolize our country as the cradle of the revival of the humanity, a country of ancient civilization and the pioneers of the Christian religion.
Alongside with a huge model of Mount Ararat and Noah's Ark, there will also be Armenian khachkars and inscriptions in Armenian. The 5000 thousand members of the school will also carry the National Emblem of Armenia, three meters high, and the seven-meter flag.
A number of famous Brazilian-Armenian movie stars, public and art figures of the Diaspora and tourists will participate in the event which will be broadcast in more than 100 countries of the world and watched by more than a billion people.
