OSKANYAN MET BEZHUASHVILI

On November 1 RA Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan met Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili. Both Ministers are participating in the 15th meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.

The officials discussed the relations between Armenia and Georgia, as well as the reflection of the Georgian-Russian relations on the region and the possibilities to reduce tension.

Referring to the relations of both countries with the UN, the Ministers highly appreciated the adoption of the Action Plan concerning the South Caucasian countries within the framework of the New Neighborhood policy. They voiced hope that it will give Armenia and Georgia a chance to deepen mutual cooperation for integration into the European structures.

The sides also exchanged thoughts about the peaceful settlement of regional conflicts.
