KOCHARYAN WAS NOT DISPLEASED

At the beginning of the year during a working consultation in the Yerevan municipality President Kocharyan mentioned the necessity of introducing the principle of «one window» in order to regulate the work with the citizens. The president made an order to process a system which would make it possible to realize the principle.

Today the automatized system of document circulation proceeding from the principle of “one window” was represented to the President in the Yerevan municipality.

System “Elpas” which was put into execution in June makes it possible for any citizen to follow the course of his letter addressed to the municipality, to learn who is responsible for it and to learn about the decision concerning his letter.

Robert Kocharyan said that the introduction of the system is an important step in the formation of informational society. The President underlined that all the state structures must follow the example of the municipality.

The President also made an order to introduce the system as soon as possible in those state structures which work with the citizens most.
