ARMENIA TURNS TO NORTH KOREA

The RA Foreign Ministry has made a statement in connection with testing nuclear weapon by North Korea several days ago.

The statement says, «Remaining loyal to the principle of non-proliferation of nuclear weapon adopted by the Republic of Armenia, the RA Foreign Ministry expresses its concern over the testing of nuclear weapon by North Korea as it not only threatens the security of the region but also harms the efforts of the international community towards the non-proliferation of nuclear weapon.

The RA Foreign Ministry voices hope that the North Korean authorities will come to an agreement with the international community and the problem will be solved via peaceful negotiations halting further nuclear arms race».
