PRYAKHIN MET THE DEFENSE MINISTER
Support A1+!Today the Secretary of the National Security Council attached to the RA President, Defense Minister Serge Sargsyan received the head of the OSCE Yerevan office, Ambassador Vladimir Pryakhin. Representatives of the office Karel Hofstra and Silvia Pogolsa also participated in the meeting.
Ambassador Pryakhin represented the successful course of the first two phases of elimination of the mélange stores in RA. He also referred to the work anticipated in the third phase. As a result of the program mélange will be processed into ecologically clean fertilizer and will be used to fertilize soil.
During the meeting issues about the democratic control of the armed forces and future cooperation in the field of alternative military service were discussed.
Thanking the Minister, Pryakhin found the assistance of the Defense Ministry specialists to the OSCE Yerevan office extremely important.
