REPRESENTATIVE OF US STATE SECRETARIAT IS ALREADY IN ARMENIA
Support A1+!Early in the morning the RA Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan received the US deputy Secretary General on European and Eurasian affairs Daniel Fried and the OSCE Minsk group co-chair Steven Mann acompanying him. The two officials are in Armenia within the framework of their regional visit.
According to the official statement, during the meeting the sides discussed issues of mutual interest, in particular, those about the energy security of Armenia, and the situation about the settlement of the Karabakh conflict. The sides exchanged thoughts about the steps taken within the franework of the Prague process.
The Armenian-Turkish relations were also discussed, and a reference was made to the opening of the border.
