The Kilikia Patriarch Aram I will preside over the 9th Congress of the World Church Council.
On February 14 through 23 in the Brazilian city of Porto Alegre the 9th conference of the World Church Council will take place which will be presided over by the Kilikia Patriarch Aram I. The Congress will refer to the world developments.
During the Congress His Holiness will make a separate speech of his own. About five thousand delegates will participate in the congress, including official representatives of Churches, specialist and journalists.
