The first session of the UN Human Rights Committee 62th sitting has been convened in Geneva. The elections of the Committee officials have taken place. The permanent representative of the RA to the UN Geneva office has been unanimously elected the deputy president of hte Human Rights Committee 62th sitting.

The representative of Peru was elected President of the sitting. The works of the Committee will resume in March.
