BSEC-EU COOPERATION WAS FOUND IMPORTANT

October 26-28 in Kishinev the meetings of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Foreign Ministers Council and High Officials Committee took place. The RA Foreign Ministry delegation with deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakosyan also participated in the meetings.

The Foreign Ministers Council adopted a joint declaration about the enhancing of cooperation with EU where special attention is paid to the necessity of establishing links between the two organizations in the fields of transport, power, and joint combat against terrorism, in the atmosphere of political, economic, and cultural cooperation.

The next meeting of the BSEC Foreign Ministers Council will take place in April 2006 in Bucharest.
