SERGE SARGSYAN IN CARNEGIE FUND
Support A1+!Today the RA Defense Minister Serge Sargsyan who is in USA on official duty made a speech in the Carnegie Fund which is one of the leading centers of the political and social sciences investigation. Answering the question of the representative of the Turkish-American association how the world must recognize the independence of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic if Armenia has not recognized it himself, he said,
“We do not do it, and it is a compromise from our side. Another compromise is the readiness of Armenia to organize a second referendum in Karabakh. We all know that independence is a difficult way to pass, and the residents of Karabakh pass this way with dignity.
And finally, if no one has recognized the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, why was the Minsk group created? Why are USA, France and Russia engaged in the issue, and why do the democratic structures of the world keep announcing that the Karabakh conflict differs essentially from conflict in Abkhazia and others?”
