ARMENIA AND GREECE UNANIMOUS ON TURKEY ISSUE

Official

Today Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan received Greek Ambassador to Armenia Antonionis Vlavianos, who is completing his diplomatic mission in the republic.

Giving a high estimate to the level of the Armenian-Greek relations the parties noted that Robert Kocharian’s formal visit to Greece scheduled for this November will convey an impulse to the lasting political dialogue between the two states and activation of economic relations.

Ambassador Vlavianos and the RA Premier expressed satisfaction with the participation of Greece in the programs implemented in the spheres of education, public health, agriculture, water supply, sports and culture. Military cooperation was also noted.

The interlocutors noted the necessity of expanding the bilateral relations and judged the blockade imposed by Turkey on Armenia as inadmissible.
