WE CAN RESTORE THE REPUTATION OF ARMENIA BY REFORMS

The NA President informed the US Senator about the democratic and legal reforms taking place in Armenia, about the combat against corruption, the Armenian point of view in regional problems, and about our relations with neighbors. The NA President mentioned that for the success of these processes the support of the USA is extremely important and thanked for the moral and financial help (of 1.5 billion dollars) shown during the years of independence.
Mr. Coleman expressed his readiness to assist the inter Governmental relations of the two countries, and to the establishment of true democracy. The senator mentioned the important role of the Armenian Diaspora in order to make the voice of Armenia more prominent for the US authorities.
According to him, Armenia must be actively included in all the regional developments. Realizing the reform successfully, Armenia will give hope to the international community, enhancing its political and economical status. And in theses processes, according to the senator, the role of the Parliament is extremely important.
