CATHOLICOS OF ALL ARMENIANS RECEIVED ITALIAN MINISTER
Support A1+!Today Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II received the delegation headed by Italian Minister of Regional Affairs Enrico La Loggia.
Welcoming the first visit of the Minister Garegin II pointed out to the importance of relations between the two states and expressed hope that the ties between the Armenian and Catholic Churches. He also recollected the visit of late Pope John Paul II to Holy Echmiadzin. «The resemblance of our churches is the outcome of our belief», he noted.
In his turn the Italian Minister thanked His Holiness for reception and noted that his call would not be efficient without visiting Echmiadzin.
