LITHUANIA READY FOR COOPERATION
Support A1+!Today Armenian Defense Minister Serge Sargsyan received the Lithuanian delegation headed by Minister of National Defense Gediminas Kirkilas.
Welcoming the guest Serge Sargsyan said, «We highly appreciate your cooperation and aspire after strengthening our relations. We consider ourselves to be Europeans and want to become full members of this family.»
In his turn Mr. Kirkilas stated, «Armenia is the second country after the US I have paid a formal visit to. We attach importance to cooperation with a state with great historical past and culture.
When touching upon the Karabakh problem, the Armenian Defense Minister stressed the importance of the OSCE Minsk Group activity and its contribution to the 11-year armistice.
Upon completion of the meeting Gediminas Kirkilas expressed readiness to discuss any proposal on military cooperation.
