ROBERT KOCHARYAN HELD WORKING MEETING
Support A1+!During today's working meeting Robert Kocharyan, the Prime Minister, Ministers of Labor and Social Affairs, Finance and Economy, Director of the State Social insurance Foundation and Head of the State Tax Service discussed the issues regarding social insurance payments.
The meeting participants presented the results fixed at the beginning of the year. To note, in January and February the social payments made 8.7 billion AMD, what is 2 billion more than the last year's indexes.
According to Robert Kocharyan taking into account the planned rise in pensions all the processes in the given field should be settled. The ways of improvement of the system of family benefit were as well considered.
Upon completion of the meeting the President ordered the Minister of Finance and Economy to discuss the issue regarding the completion of the state budget planning process a month earlier and view the question of raising the minimal salary rate beginning with year 2006. The State Tax Service was ordered to examine the international experience and implement additional measures for reducing shadow employment. The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs was obliged to present efficient mechanisms for preventing delays in paying off the family benefits while the Director of the State Social Insurance Foundation will have to clarify the lists of the pensioners and exclude any possibility of illegal insertion of other names.
