COMMUNITIES WILL BE RE-FORMED
Support A1+!Today Armenian President Robert Kocharyan held a working meeting with Minister of territorial administration and infrastructures coordination Hovik Abrahamyan.
During the conversation the President touched upon the delay of the welfare payments. The Minister explained that it was caused by technical works on clarifying the lists of the beneficiaries in January and February.
The parties discussed community borders determination as well as the issues regarding the consolidation of the communities. The matter concerns the re-forming of the existing 930 communities into 300. The draft bill on inter-community unions has been already submitted to the National Assembly.
Robert Kocharyan and Hovik Abrahamyan also touched upon the preparatory works for the upcoming elections to the local self-government bodies.
