LAVROV TO DISCUSS ARMENIAN-RUSSIAN RELATIONS IN YEREVAN
Support A1+!On February 16 Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will pay a 3-day visit to Armenia. It is his first call to Armenia, during which he is to meet with the Armenian leadership.
The parties are expected to discuss the current process and prospects of the Armenian-Russian strategic cooperation as well as a wide range of political, economic, scientific, educational and cultural issues. They will also consider the possibilities of the Armenian-Russian cooperation within the international structures, the CIS activities and the issues regarding CIS bodies reformation.
During the discussions special attention will be paid to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement and establishment of mutual trust and stability in the South Caucasus. The details of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s call to Armenia will be as well viewed.
