THE DEFENDER OF HUMAN RIGHTS TO MAKE A REPORT
Support A1+!Larisa Alaverdyan, the RA Defender of Human Rights, is preparing her annual report about her activity in the previous year and the cases of violation of human rights in the country. The defender is to represent the report to the President, bodies of legislative, executive and law branches of the power, and also to the National Assembly during its spring session. Larisa Alaverdyan will also represent her report to the mass media and corresponding social organizations.
In the framework of the preparation of the annual report meetings with the social organizations are to be carried out with the aim of clearing once more their evaluation of the rate of defendedness of human rights in Armenia and finding out often-occurring cases of violation of human rights. Larisa Alaverdyan also intends to visit the regions of Armenia and meet representatives of local authorities and the society.
