AMBASSADOR TALVITIE ADVISES ARMENIA TO MAKE USE OF HIS OPPORTUNITIES
Support A1+!Today, EU Special Representative to the Southern Caucasus, Ambassador Heikki Talvitie, who is in Armenia on a regional visit, has met the RA deputy president Rouben Shougaryan.
The EU Ambassador has expressed his confidence that in the current year it will be possible to process the final version of the program of actions Armenia-EU with the aim of adopting it in 2006. The Ambassador has suggested that Armenia make use of the opportunities foreseen by the new EU Neighborhood Program.
In the first phase the appropriateness of processing Armenian-Georgian joint programs was mentioned, which will contribute to the development of new initiatives in the region. The parties also dwelt upon the present state and the perspectives of the process of the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
