SUMS RECEIVED FROM SALE OF “ZANGEZUR COPPER AND MOLYBDENUM” DISTRIBUTED

At Government sitting a decision was made to fix the directions for distribution of the sum received from privatization of “Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Industrial Complex” CJSC.

Armenian Finance and Economy Minister was set a task to transmit the further payments of the treaty price /$ 132 million/ received from the company buyers on the off-budget currency account of the Ministry.

ONE MORE SPECIAL SESSION

Government has decided to appeal to Armenian President with the suggestion to hold a special session of Government on December 24, 2004.

The Executive Power has made a decision on granting property guarantees to some companies in the energy system of Armenia.

REFUGEES WON’T BE LEFT SHELTERLESS

Under the Armenian Law on “Privatization of State Property”, Government decided to privatize the property of “Goris” Hotel in Goris City, assessed 59.334.000 drams. Taking into account that 38 refugee families now reside in the hotel, the head of Department for State Property Management was set a task to provide an obligation in a privatization contract concluded with a buyer, under which the hotel rooms must be left to the refugee families until they are provided with apartments in the building under construction in Goris by UNO Refugees Office.
