GRIZLOV TALKS TO KOCHARYAN

President Kocharyan received Wednesday a delegation headed by Russian State Duma speaker Boris Grizlov.

Implementation of the property-for-debt agreement made between Armenia and Russia in 2002 was among the issues under discussion. Special attention was paid to Mars, one of Armenian plants of strategic significance. Grizlov assured Kocharyan that Russian side would take whatever step necessary to make the plant function effectively.

Both sides have high expectations of the intergovernmental commission meeting to be held in Moscow by the end of December.

Regional issues were also discussed at the meeting.
