BORIS GRIZLOV IN ARMENIAN NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
Support A1+!Armenian parliament speaker Arthur Baghdasaryan received his Russian counterpart Boris Grizlov on Wednesday.
Intergovernmental and interparliamentary relations were discussed by the two speakers.
Arthur Baghdasaryan put special emphasis upon property for debt agreement, under which five Armenian enterprises have been handed over to Russia, pointing out that people are waiting for new jobs and investments as it was stipulated in the agreement.
He also stressed extraordinary importance of Armenia-Russia railway opening.
Grizlov, in turn, said the money is targeted in 2005 Russia’s state budget for these purposes.
He also met with parliamentary groups and fractions as part of his official visit to Armenia.
Grizlov called relationship between the two countries friendly and said “Armenia is Russia’s outpost in South Caucasus”.
