Support A1+!President Robert Kocharyan has today received the delegation of Russian Constitutional Court, headed by Chairman Valeri Zorkin.
Kocharyan welcomed cooperation and steps taken for experience exchange, calling them useful and necessary.
Issues on constitutional jurisdiction and activity of constitutional courts were mainly discussed. Mr. Zorkin briefly introduced work of Russian Constitutional Court.
Referring to the coming constitutional reforms in Armenia, Robert Kocharyan stated they will first be directed to consolidation of stability in the state, establishment of a civil society and balanced relations between various branches of power.
