ARMENIAN, IRAQI OFFICIALS DISCUSS RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES
Support A1+!On Tuesday Armenian deputy foreign minister Ruben Shugaryan received Iraqi foreign minister’s adviser Tarik Mohammad Yahya and Iraq’s Novruz Group holding owner Mustafa Jaf.
It was stressed at the meeting that Armenia has always had a prudent stance on Iraq and supported the idea of peaceful settlement of the problem putting emphasis on post-conflict activity and humanitarian programs.
Novruz Group holding owner expressed his willingness to develop economic and trade relations with Armenia, in particular, to establish Armenian-Iraqi joint venture and bank as well as to think over Armenian industrial products export to Iraq.
