127 MILLION DRAMS TO SCIENTISTS
To carry out construction in the institutes of National Academy of Sciences in Armenia Government has allotted 127 million drams.
The sum will be directed to reconstruction of the heating networks, water supply and sewerage systems of the buildings for Mathematics, Mechanics, History, Geology, Art and Oriental Studies’ Institutes, Basic Library, International Scientific and Educational Center, as well to repair of heating, water, gas and sewerage systems of the buildings for Institutes of Physics Studies, Radio Physics, Electronics etc.
GETTING RICHER BY 20 DRAMS
A change was made to the Government decision on pensions. The volume of the base pensions and the insurance service per year was increased from 140 drams to 160.
The decision will come into force from October 1.
WORLD SEISMOLOGISTS IN YEREVAN
From October 18-21 the 5th international summit of Asian Seismological Commission will be held in Yerevan.
The membership of the Armenian side of the organizing commission was approved. Sergey Balasanyan, Chair of Armenia’s Seismology and Geophysics Association, will be the head.
8.468.200 drams at the expense of Government reserve fund were allocated to the Department of Emergency State for holding the measure.
