Armenian ARF delegation has met Seyed Mohammad Khatami, President of Iranian Islamic Republic.
ARF Bureau Representative Hrant Margaryan welcomed the visit of Iranian President to Armenia, underlining the importance of it for not only development of Armenian-Iranian relations but also for the regional policy.
Mr. Margaryan voiced confidence the visit symbolizes a new stage for the century-old Armenian-Iranian friendship, considering the practical projects and the agreements that were made during that visit.
President Khatami introduced his impressions gained at the visit to Armenia. He stated the significant part of Armenia in the region and the thousand-year-old role of the Armenians in process of the dialogue between the civilizations.
