Armenian Foreign Affairs Minister Vardan Oskanyan who is in USA on 2-day-long official visit had several meetings.

During the conversation with US Secretary of State Colin Powell they have discussed issues regarding prospects of development of bilateral relations, the recent events in the region, Armenian-Turkish relations and Karabakhi conflict settlement.

The interlocutors have also discussed Armenia’s participation in USA’ “Millennium Challenges” program, stressing importance of the project for development of economy and democracy in Armenia.

At the meeting with US National Security Advisor Dr. Condoleezza Rice issues on regional security, NATO summit that is to take place in Istanbul and Karabakhi conflict regulation were discussed.

Today meetings with American Congressmen and Senators, representatives of American press and Armenian organizations in USA are scheduled.
