CONFERENCE STARTS IN YEREVAN STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
Support A1+!A three-day conference focused on health care in army started Wednesday in Yerevan State Medical University as part of NATO’s Partnership for the Sake of Peace program. The event is dedicated to 10th anniversary of foundation of the university’s Military Medicine faculty.
Delegations from Russia, China, Greece, Latvia and Georgia arrived in Yerevan to attend the conference.
Issues related to medical care supply to troops in the course of local wars and armed conflicts especially in mountainous terrain will be discussed at the conference.
This year Armenian military doctors will participate in exercises in Latvia.
Armenian Deputy Public Health Minister said the republic military authorities worked-out a 10-year-long program of military doctors training.
