ADDITIONAL MONEY WILL BE TO THE POINT FOR ARMENIA
Support A1+!President Robert Kocharyan has today received the delegation of the American part of the sitting of Armenian-American Intergovernmental Working Group on Economic Cooperation.
Introducing the issues on the sitting agenda, Carlos Pascuale, delegation head and Coordinator of USA Support for Eurasia States stated the process of implementation of the programs within the relief by the American Government to Armenia was discussed and an attempt was made to clarify the spheres of further activity.
During the meeting the parts discussed issues regarding Armenia’s enrollment in “Challenges of the Millennium” and the additional assistance to Armenia. The American side suggested stressing the priorities of support.
Robert Kocharyan stated the projects were mainly of social character, adding the urgency of Government is to continue the policy of economic reforms.
